Haw Creek Falls, 14 miles north from Hagarville on Arkansas 123. Small mountain stream with picturesque falls, rocks, bluffs. Canoeing on Big Piney Creek nearby and access to Ozark Highlands Trail.
Horsehead Lake, 8 miles north of Clarksville. 98-acre lake and three-mile hiking loop.
Wolfpen, 22 miles northwest of Clarksville on Highway 103, then west on Forest Road 1003 for two miles. Mulberry River canoeing and access to the Ozark Highlands Trail.
Ozone, 18 miles north of Clarksville. Situated in tall pine timber, site of old Ozone Civilian Conservation Corps Camp. Access to Ozark Highlands Trail.

Cane Creek
Campsites: 9 RV/Tent with no hookups
Location: 3.5 miles northeast of Scranton on Hwy. 197, then north 2 miles on paved road.
Facilities: Vault toilet, boat ramp. User's fee charged (March-Oct.), closed in winter. Boat ramp open year-round.
Delaware
Campsites: 13 RV/Tent with no hookups
Location: .25 mile east of Delaware on Hwy. 22, then north 2 miles on Hwy. 393.
Facilities: Vault toilet, water, boat ramp, overlook, pavilion. User’s fee charged March-October, closed in winter. Boat ramp open year-round.
Dublin
Campsites: Day Use Only
Location: 7.3 miles east of Scranton on Hwy. 197.
Facilities: Vault toilets, water, boat ramp year-round, group shelter. (Open Mar. 1-Oct. 31) Boat launch fee charged year-round.
Old Post Road Park
Campsites: 40 RV/Tent with W/E
Location: 1.3 miles west of Hwy. 7 on paved road to Lock and Dam.
Facilities: Flush toilets, water, showers, boat ramp, dump station, tennis courts, basketball court, playground, mountain bike trails, baseball field, soccer-football field, pavilions, sand volleyball. Arkansas River Visitor Center open weekends during summer, open Mon.-Fri. rest of year. (Open year-round) User’s fee charged.
Piney Bay
Campsites: 90 RV/Tent with W/E
Location: 3 miles west of London on U.S. 64, then 3.5 miles north on Hwy. 359.
Facilities: Boat ramps, water, showers, restrooms, swim beach, dump station, 8 picnic sites, amphitheater, pavilion. (Open year-round) User’s fee charged. Boat launch and swim beach fee charged year-round.
Riverview
Campsites: 18 RV/Tent with W/E
Location: .75 mile north of Dardanelle on paved road to Dam.
Facilities: Vault toilets, water, pavilion. (Closed in winter) User’s fee charged Mar.-Oct. 31.
Shoal Bay
Campsites: 82 RV/Tent with W/E
Location: 2 miles north of New Blaine on Hwy. 197.
Facilities: Flush toilets, water, showers, boat dock and ramp, trailer dump station, group pavilions, swim beach, playground, Bridge Rock Nature Trail, amphitheater. (Open year-round) User's fee charged. Boat launch and swim beach fee charged year-round.
Spadra
Campsites: 30 RV/tent with E
Location: 2 miles south of Clarksville on Hwy. 103 to Jamestown, then 1 mile on access road.
Facilities: Flush toilets, water, showers, boat dock and ramp, pavilion, trailer dump station, marina and restaurant. (Open year-round) User’s fee charged. Boat launch fee charged year-round.
Sweeden Island
Description: Class B Park with a trailer dump station, visitor protection, and 28 sites with water, 22 of which have electricity. A picnic shelter is available for rent March 1 – October 31. It is scenically located on bluffs overlooking the Arkansas River. Many opportunities exists here for waterfowl viewing and fishing. Location: 15 miles south of Atkins on State Hwy 105.
Facilities: 28 total campsites, 22 campsites with electricity, 1 picnic shelter, 1 boat launching ramp.
Fees: Day use fee does not apply. Campsite fees range from $10 -$16. Picnic shelters at $35 daily rental, for rent March 1 – October 31.
Open: March 1 - October 31.
Cherokee and Sequoyah Parks - In Conway County, located near Lock and Dam #9 on the Arkansas River. Camping, fishing, picnic areas managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.

Nimrod Lake Recreation Area - Fishing, water-skiing, camping, picnicking and swimming at this Corps of Engineers lake just south of Plainview. 126 campsites, full-service camping and boat ramps,. Great for bass, crappie and other panfish. Also motorcycle trails.
Cypress Creek, Bigelow - Corps of Engineers park on the Arkansas River in eastern Perry County offers campsites, facilities and boat ramps.
Horsehead Lake - 8 miles north of Clarksville. 98-acre lake, three miles of hiking trails and campsites.
Harris Brake Lake - Fishing, camping, cabins, boat rentals and boat launch located in eastern Perry County.
Lake Overcup - Great little fishing lake (1,025 acres) with marinas, camping, boat rental. North of Morrilton off Hwys. 95 or 9.
Cove Lake - This pristine lake at the base of Mount Magazine in Logan County offers visitors a variety of outdoor pleasures including swimming, boating, camping and fishing.
Lake Sylvia Recreation Area - The 17 - acre lake is centerpiece for a variety of family activities, including swimming, camping, fishing, trails and evening interpretive programs in the summer - located in southern Perry County off Highway 9.
Arkansas State Parks
Petit Jean State Park - Offering 125 campsites with modern bathhouse facilities for year-round camping as well as the 24-room Mather Lodge overlooking Ceder Creek Canyon and 32 rustic style cabins. Hiking, swimming, fishing, tennis, pedal boating, and interpretive programs are among the activities you'll find at Petit Jean.
Lake Dardanelle State Park - offers two camping areas on the lake. One park site is at Russellville and the other is located nearby at Dardanelle. Both locations offer camping. Mount Magazine State Park - Arkansas' Newest State Park. The highest point in Arkansas is located 16 miles south of Paris on Scenic 309 Byway, rising from the Ozark National Forest at 2,753 feet above sea level. Mount Magazine offers tourists not only the serenity of its natural beauty with scenic overlooks and historical significance, but also provides areas to tourists for camping, picnicking, hiking, horseback riding, hang gliding, rock climbing and rappelling. On a clear day, you can see 40 miles.
Mount Nebo State Park - Arkansas' second highest state park is atop Mount Nebo just west of Dardanelle. Cabins, campsites, hiking trails with scenic overlooks, visitor center, swimming pool, and more.
