erhaps our most striking landmark is Petit Jean Mountain, home of Arkansas' first state park and breathtaking vistas of the River Valley. And you certainly won't be disappointed in the offerings of the Arkansas River, Lake Overcup, Cadron Creek, Point Remove Creek and our other points of interest and attractions.

Morrilton - Conway County seat features small-town living, while only 45 minutes from Little Rock, the state capital. Recreational opportunities abound, with the Ozark National Forest to the north, the Ouachita National Forest to the south and Petit Jean State Park just across the Arkansas River. Morrilton is a convenient, hospitable gateway to it all with abundant dining, lodging and other accommodations.

Museum of Automobiles - See the great auto classics on display atop Petit Jean Mountain. A collection of 50 painstakingly restored, regularly rotated vintage vehicles.

Restored Rialto Theater, Morrilton - Live entertainment including plays, music shows and gospel singing in renovated downtown.

Point Remove Wildlife Management Area - An 8,600 acre public hunting area managed by Arkansas Game and Fish Commission, with good deer population, small game and waterfowl. Also includes 143-acre Lake Cargile.

Arkansas River - Conway County has several access points for fishing and picnicking on sand bars.

Solgohachia - Picturesque little community located in the center of the county about nine miles north of Morrilton is the home of the Ozark Conference Center, a popular site for retreats and other gatherings on top of Jenkins Mountain. The community's popular springtime festival is called Solgohachia Days.
